For this Daily Create, I had some trouble trying to think of what I wanted to create. I was trying to talk it over with my dad, but he has a hard time hearing. Especially when I’m literally standing right next to him. Then, when he’s in the other room, down the hall, he has no problem hearing me. I’m convinced he has selective hearing. So, this is when I decided I’d make a pie graph over the fact that my dad can’t, or won’t, hear me when I’m talking to him about important stuff like my English homework!

I used the website, Kids’ Zone, to create my graph. It’s a website that I’ve used in the past to teach students how to use graphs and their components before they move on to any Excel documents. It starts out asking what type of graph you want to create. I wanted something visual and colorful, so I decided a pie chart would work best. After, all you have to do is add the labels and the numbers for your graph. You can even change the font and the size of the letters and numbers. It’s super easy to use and it’s very straightforward. A wonderful tool for the teaching world (and for anyone, really)!
