I picked Martin Luther King Jr. because he is a pivotal man in history. His meaning and values are so important for human kind and it’s important to listen to his words and see his perspective. For a person to speak up and speak out for beliefs in a better and kinder world are important to remember. I picked Martin Luther King Jr. because he has a lot of resonating beliefs that people should be kind and people should be able to communicate no matter who the person is. It’s something that I want my future students to have in mind when we all come from different homes and cultural backgrounds.
I used the Twister tool to create the fake tweet. I wanted to use a quote that worked with education. This was a quote that Martin Luther King Jr. wrote while he was writing a paper during college. It wouldn’t let me create a PDF, so I just took a screenshot of the outcome and saved it to my computer in order to upload it.
The Fakebook tool was a lot of fun. I had no idea that this was a thing. This would actually be a great tool to have for a history project for a classroom.
